The Global Assault On Liberty

A long time citizens group today is seeking an injunction to halt actions by BC Hydro to assault the public interest.  BC Hydro would have you believe that the move to install “smart meters” is about making the system more efficient about about providing better service.  Any citizen with any remaining brain cells that still function knows that the move is nothing more than a subversive attempt to raise the rates.  Smart meters would mean that your 84 year old mother, living alone, would have to cook her dinner at 9 pm because that is all she can afford!  Large families too, will be penalized for using power at peak times.  If this is what y’all want, then continue doing nothing.

When you look under the hood on this “Edsel”, you notice a pile of serious issues.  First of all, you have to wonder why we are suddenly seeing a global movement toward smart meters?  Did some “nig-nog” from BC Hydro attend the same convention (Corporate Trade Show) as the rest of the world?  One jurisdiction in the US says:

“In our on-going investigation into why so-called ‘smart’ meters being installed by PG&E against rising public opposition are causing so many people to be sick, and so many problems with other electric and electronic equipment, we have been fortunate to obtain the advice of electrical engineers.”

Mr. President – Just Who is “WE”

When a liberal says “good morning”,  go to the window and have a look out just to check.  You need to keep them honest.  Did you vote liberal in the last election and now you’re embarrassed by the results?  Take heart.  When confronted by liberal revisionist dogma, always go strait to the facts.  Nothing shuts a liberal up faster than someone who has access to the facts.  In a well heeled liberal organization, the fact are normally very deeply hidden.  In this case, however, the liberal in question is either ignorant, or overly cocky!

President Barack Obama said this in Turkey recently : “We  do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation.  We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.”

I must admit, I am somewhat surprised at the depth of ignorance behind his statement.  Is anyone aware of the preamble for any of the American States?

Bill Vanderzalm released this list of top 7 HST myths.  It seems a ‘no brainer’ to me.   All one needs to do is look at who supports the HST and who does not.  Do you trust something that the government is spending millions of dollars to promote?  Do you trust big business?  For gosh sake.  It is like taking the Lion and the Lamb out for dinner and only allowing the Lion to choose the menu!

Vancouver Mayor Scrambling For Cover

I watched the TV all night on the night of the 2011 Vancouver riots.  The first thing that hit me, other than the obvious, was the fact that Mayor Robertson made an effort to get downtown and to get on tape fast!  He must have said 37 times in four short interviews – “…This small group of anarchists and activists….”.   Compared to me, Robertson is a kid – and kids do say the dumbest things!

I quietly wondered why, in the middle of many tens of thousands of rioters, Robertson would make such a statement so many times.  If he is taking political direction from his owners, then he needs to wake up.  Any time someone tries to drive home a point so rigorously at such an early point in the game, then the truth is usually found at the opposite end of the spectrum.

I believe that Robertson was ordered to minimize the size of the crowd so he wouldn’t have to defend the numbers of cops that he forced Jimmy Chu to put onto the streets that night.  And I am so sorry for these great cops.  I know how they must feel.  Each and every one of them had their personal safety put at risk so that Robertson and his owner could keep costs down.

American politics continues to shock me.  Normally I just watch events with passing interest, but over the past few years, I sense the American public is growing less tolerant of this man who calls himself their president.  Barack Obama is worthy of an entire university course in Political Science.  I have never seen people jump off the presidential bandwagon as fast as furiously as they appear to be doing with Obama.  How can one man fall so fast in such a short time?

Global Warming Alarmists Still At It

Open Letter to CTV Executives:

I was once again alarmed to watch a newscast here in Vancouver where you continue to talk about “global warming”.  Even worse, you used people from the now discredited Suzuki Foundation to support your story.  Have you guys really that out of touch with reality?  Don’t you know that a significant size of the populations already knows more than you do and they have access to research resources that you can’t possibly keep up with.  Your news shows are for “techno-peasants” – those that are still brainwashed.

Let me once again set the record straight and provide you with a little insight.  The volcanic eruption in Iceland, since its first spewing of volcanic ash has, in just FOUR DAYS, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT mankind has made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet – ALL OF YOU!

Of course you know about this “evil carbon dioxide” that we are trying to suppress – it’s that vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow and to synthesize into oxygen for us humans and all animal life.

I know, it’s very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the inconvenience and expense of: driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up till midnight to finish your kid’s “The Green Revolution” science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, vacationing at home instead of abroad, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your 50 cents light bulbs with $10.00 light bulbs …well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just four days.

EColi Outbreak May Have Been Engineered!

This is rather disturbing news, but sadly I am not surprised. I simply do not trust anything these elites do. People with degrees who make decisions that affect the real world are dangerous. Time and time again they demonstrate ineptness in pretty much everything they touch. Now this.

Natural News.com reports:

Even as the veggie blame game is now under way across the EU, where a super resistant strain of e.coli is sickening patients and filling hospitals in Germany, virtually no one is talking about how e.coli could have magically become resistant to eight different classes of antibiotic drugs and then suddenly appeared in the food supply.

This particular e.coli variation is a member of the O104 strain, and O104 strains are almost never (normally) resistant to antibiotics. In order for them to acquire this resistance, they must be repeatedly exposed to antibiotics in order to provide the “mutation pressure” that nudges them toward complete drug immunity.
